I was diagnosed with breast cancer in stage III, May 2005. I had a modified radical mastectomy, chemotherapy (ACT adriamyacin, Cytoxan and Taxotere - 6 treatments, 3 weeks), and 36 radiation. Everyone is different. I had 31 years without health problems. My cancer had should be treated aggressively and it was okay to work again. Cancer, regardless of the stage can not be beaten.

I'd continue with step 2. I had a total mastectomy (left). Chemo. Now, taking drugs. I suspect they will do another test on the fabric. There are many factors, the positive attitude works wonders must be represented. Your doctor should be able to tell you everything you need to know. I have one person for each visit in the 1st Year.

So, what is your question?

If you have the third phase, they have a mastectomy and chemotherapy. Probably not radiation, but you never know. The third stage of the cancer is found in the lymph nodes. Aggressive chemotherapy should be done.

An important factor for me is the comedo necrosis. This usually means less aggressive cancer. In Stage 3, which have had to be aggressive, however, appear. May respond to treatment.

Ask your doctor how many: What is the performance of sentinel node biopsy?
The margins were clean or not?

www.susanlove.org try to find more questions that only your doctor can tell you exactly to your situation, but many women are treated to good health after the visit was the primary cancer.

What kind of treatment is necessary, you ask?

I think the answer to this question is primarily with the patient. You should talk to your doctor about your options, talk with people around them about their feelings and their decision is based primarily on their own needs. I believe his work as a family to support it is to watch the entire event through the eyes, and do everything to fulfill your expectations of your support system in the fight against this terrible disease.
